Longmeadow Farm offers a thoughtfully designed, professionally maintained facility created to support the comfort, safety, and success of both horse and rider. From year-round training spaces to attentive daily care, every aspect of the farm is designed with the needs of competitive and casual equestrians alike.
Longmeadow Farm is home to Grand Prix rider, trainer, instructor, and USEF “S” Dressage Judge Rita Brown. Rita offers a range of services designed to support riders, trainers, and horses at every stage of their development.
In addition to Rita Brown Dressage, Longmeadow Farm is also home to Scituate Riding School. Scituate Riding School offers lessons for riders from beginner through advanced levels, along with a range of thoughtfully crafted programs designed to support each rider’s unique journey—from developing a strong foundation and building confidence in the saddle to continuing their education, refining their skills, and working toward their individual riding goals.
At the heart of the facility is our spacious 160' x 70' indoor arena, featuring high-quality, world-class footing that is carefully maintained each day through dragging, raking, and watering. During the colder months, the barn and indoor arena can be fully enclosed to help keep out the winter weather, creating a more comfortable environment for year-round training, lessons, and clinics.
Outdoors, riders have access to a regulation-size dressage arena equipped with a built-in watering system to maintain consistent, dust-free footing.
The barn is designed to be equally comfortable and functional, with heated tack rooms, a heated observation room, and bathroom facilities. Horses receive individualized, professional care from an experienced staff, with close attention paid to their health, comfort, and daily routines.
